Dr. C. Brooke Penaloza-Patzak, BA MA, erhielt für ihre Dissertation "Guiding the diffusion of knowledge: the transatlantic mobilization of people and things in the development of US anthropology, 1883-1933" (2018, Institut für Geschiche) den Michael-Mitterauer-Förderungspreis 2019.
Derzeit forscht sie im Rahmen eines FWF-Schrödinger-Stipendiums (2020-2023) zu "Beringia: Material Evidence, Praxis and the Shape of Science".
