Der „Edith Saurer Fonds zur Förderung geschichtswissenschaftlicher Projekte" wurde von der an der Universität Wien lehrenden und 2011 verstorbenen Universitätsprofessorin Edith Saurer gegründet und mit finanziellen Mitteln ausgestattet. Seit 2013 vergibt er in jedem Jahr einmalige Forschungsstipendien.

The Edith Saurer Fund for the Promotion of Historical Research Projects was established and endowed by University Professor Edith Saurer, who taught at the University of Vienna and passed away in 2011. Since 2013, the fund has annually awarded one-time research fellowships. The award ceremony for the Edith Saurer Prize 2025 will take place on May 15, 2025, at 6 PM, in the library of the Chamber of Labour.
